It was found that dielectric permittivity, epsilon’, decreases with the increase of frequency and increases with the increase in temperature. Ac conductivity, sigma ac(omega), is found to vary as B omega s and the frequency exponent, s, is less than unity around room temperature indicating a dominant hopping process. On the other GDC-0941 datasheet hand, sigma ac(T) of all samples is thermally activated with low activation energies. (C) 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 121: 3579-3589, 2011″
“For decades,
the technology and engineering domains have been constantly demanding high-performance magnetic materials. Recently, polymer bonded NiZn ferrite magnetic materials mixed with titanium (IV) isopropoxide (C12H28O4Ti) for power converter applications have been found to be very promising in reducing the loss, cost, and material weight when compared to their conventional counterparts using air-core technology, conventional soft ferrites, and powder iron. The proposed magnetic core is learn more flexible in both size and shape and is not brittle. The design of a high-frequency transformer for a 100 W two-transistor forward converter-based electric vehicle battery charger operating at a switching frequency of 360 kHz is reported in this paper. Printed circuit
board prototyping and experimental results as well as comparisons with conventional converters are provided to validate the application feasibility of the proposed materials. (C) 2011 PXD101 cost American Institute of Physics. [doi: 10.1063/1.3562038]“
“Two clozapine (CLZ) imprinted polymers were prepared by bulk and precipitation methods. Methacrylic acid and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EDMA) were used as functional and crosslinker monomers, respectively.
The mean diameter and particle size distribution of the imprinted (P-MIP) and nonimprinted (P-NIP) particles obtained in precipitation method were examined. A conventional batch-adsorption test was applied for characterization of CLZ-polymer interaction. Dissociation constant (K(D)) and maximum binding sites (B(max)) were calculated using Scatchard analysis. To evaluate the recognition properties of polymers, phenytoin (PTN) binding to each polymer was also studied and compared to CLZ. The imprinting factor (IF) and selectivity factor (a) were also determined for each polymer. Average diameter and polydispersity of P-MIP were 925 nm and 0.17, respectively. The data for P-NIP were 1.05 mu m and 0.18. The KD, IF, and a values calculated for P-MIP were 0.45 mu M, 3.26, and 17.43, respectively. The data for imprinted polymer, prepared by bulk polymerization (B-MIP), were 14.5 mu M, 1.95, and 3.67.
